All Active Members

The Simple Version

Your Home Club is the club you use most.

A member’s Home Club is the Center Court location where 50% or more of their actual play, participation, and club usage occurs. Where usage is substantially equal between locations, Center Court will determine the appropriate Home Club based on overall usage patterns: Where you play.

Membership pricing, reservation access, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other benefits are connected to that designated Home Club.

Why It Matters

Fair access for every member.

The goal is to keep pricing, benefits, and club access aligned with the club each member uses most often.

This helps protect court availability, keeps benefits consistent, and supports the value of every Center Court membership.

1

Play Where You Belong

Your Home Club reflects where you actually play, check in, participate, and use Center Court most often.

2

Benefits Stay Aligned

Booking windows, active reservations, Open Play access, guest passes, and club-specific benefits may differ by Home Club.

3

Reviews Keep It Fair

Center Court reviews usage periodically so membership benefits remain fair and consistent across all locations.

Benefits At-A-Glance

How Reviews Work

Days 1–30

Review Notice

Members receive notice and may ask questions, discuss usage with club management, and review the appropriate Home Club location.

Days 31–45

Confirmation or Appeal

Members may appeal to the Executive Leadership Team. By Day 45, the outcome will be confirmed.

After Review

Update If Needed

Center Court may update Home Club designation, membership category, pricing, and associated benefits.

Home Club Transfers

Both members are expected to primarily use the designated Home Club.

Review the full Home Club policy

Open each section below to review the complete member policy in a cleaner, easier-to-read format.

1. Purpose

This policy explains the benefits of Home Club versus Non-Home Club access, how Home Club status is determined, and why Home Club designation is important to membership pricing, benefits, and club access.

The goal is simple: to ensure membership pricing, benefits, and club access remain aligned with the club our members use most often.

By doing so, we create a fair and consistent experience for all members, protect access and availability at each club, and preserve the integrity and value of every Center Court membership.

2. Home Club Definition

A member’s Home Club is the Center Court location where 50% or more of their actual play, participation, and club usage occurs.

Membership pricing, benefits, reservation access, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other club benefits are tied to a member’s designated Home Club.

Home Club designations are reviewed periodically and may be updated if a member’s primary play location changes. Home Club status is determined by actual club usage, not member preference, and therefore may change based on usage patterns.

For the purpose of this policy, Home Club usage is determined primarily by actual club attendance and participation.

Usage factors may include:

  • Court check-ins and facility usage.
  • Open Play participation.
  • Program participation.
  • League participation.
  • Reservation usage and attendance.
  • Other verified club activity.

Not included:

  • Private events.
  • Tournaments.
  • Inter-Club matches.
  • Paid Pickleball Programs, such as private lessons, clinics, etc.

Reservations alone do not determine Home Club status. Reservation usage is one factor among many and will not be used as the sole basis for determining Home Club status.

Center Court reserves the right to determine a member’s Home Club based on overall usage patterns and actual participation.

3. Home Club Reviews

Center Court reviews member usage across all locations periodically and no less than four times per year, every 90 days.

The purpose of these reviews is to:

  • Protect access and availability for members at their Home Club.
  • Ensure members are assigned to the club they use most often.
  • Protect the integrity of membership pricing and benefits while maintaining consistency and fairness across all Center Court locations.

If a review indicates that a member’s primary play location has changed, Center Court will provide 30 days’ notice of the outcome of the review to the member, followed by 15 days for confirmation or appeal prior to any Home Club change.

Review period: The first 30 days allow members time to:

  • Agree and commit to adjust playing behaviors to align with Home Club requirements.
  • Discuss the situation with their Home Club management team and clarify any questions.
  • Communicate the appropriate Home Club location and membership category going forward.

Appeal period: Days 31–45:

During Days 31–45, the member may appeal to the Executive Leadership Team. By Day 45, the outcome will be confirmed and any required changes to membership or club designation will be implemented.

Following the review period, Center Court may update the member’s Home Club designation, membership category, pricing, and associated benefits, including enrollment at the then-current retail membership rate applicable to the designated Home Club.

4. Home Club Benefits

Membership benefits are designed around a member’s Home Club.

Examples may include:

  • Reservation booking windows.
  • Active reservation limits.
  • Open Play booking windows.
  • Guest pass privileges.
  • Club-specific events and promotions.
  • Other membership benefits offered by Center Court.

Benefits and access may differ between Home Club and Non-Home Club usage.

Center Court reserves the right to modify reservation windows, reservation limits, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other membership benefits from time to time as business needs evolve.

5. Home Club Transfers

Members may request to transfer their Home Club designation from one Center Court location to another.

As a commitment to our members, Center Court does not charge a transfer fee.

Upon approval of a transfer:

  • The new location becomes the members’ Home Club.
  • Membership pricing, benefits, reservation privileges, guest access, and Home Club benefits will be governed by the new Home Club membership and structure.
  • Previous Home Clubs will become a Non-Home Club and are subject to the applicable access rules associated with the member’s new membership type.

Members considering a transfer should understand that Home Club benefits, reservation access, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other membership benefits may differ between Home Club and Non-Home Club usage.

Home Club transfers are intended to align membership benefits and pricing with actual usage patterns, not simply member preference.

6. Founders Memberships

Founders Memberships are intended to reward members who join and support a club during its launch period.

Founders pricing and associated benefits are tied to the specific club where the membership was established.

Except where specifically approved by Center Court as part of a designated transfer program, Founders pricing and benefits are not transferable between locations.

If a member transfers to another club, requests a Home Club reassignment, or is reassigned following a Home Club review, Founders pricing associated with the previous club will be forfeited.

The member will then be enrolled in the applicable membership category at the then-current retail membership rate for their designated Home Club.

Once forfeited, Founders pricing cannot be reinstated.

Members who believe their circumstances warrant an exception should submit a formal request through their Home Club management team for review by Executive Leadership, within 15 days of notification of the decision.

7. Couples Memberships

Couples Memberships are associated with one Home Club and one membership category.

Both members are expected to primarily use the designated Home Club.

The Home Club for a Couples Membership will be determined by the actual usage patterns of both members.

If either member primarily uses another Center Court location greater than 50% of their playing usage, Center Court reserves the right to review the Couples Membership and determine that the designated Home Club no longer reflects actual usage.

Reviews and communication will follow the same process as Section 3 — Home Club Reviews.

Center Court reserves the right to require separate memberships if the usage patterns of either member make a shared Home Club designation impractical.

Example 1

Both members join Scottsdale – Mayo and primarily use Scottsdale Mayo.

Result: The membership remains assigned to Scottsdale – Mayo.

Example 2

Both members transfer to Scottsdale – Shea and primarily use Scottsdale – Shea.

Result: The membership remains assigned to Scottsdale – Shea.

Example 3

One member primarily uses Scottsdale – Mayo while the other primarily uses Scottsdale – Shea.

Result: The membership will be reviewed.

Following the review period, the membership may be reassigned to the most appropriate Home Club location or converted into separate memberships at the applicable retail rates.

8. Member Responsibilities

All members are responsible for understanding the following:

  • Home Club status is based on actual club usage.
  • Membership pricing and benefits are tied to a member’s designated Home Club.
  • Reservation access, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other benefits may differ between Home Club and Non-Home Club usage.
  • Founders pricing, promotional pricing, and club-specific membership benefits may be contingent upon maintaining the applicable Home Club designation.
  • Home Club designations may be updated if a member’s primary play location changes.
  • Center Court reserves the right to modify membership benefits, reservation access, Open Play access, guest privileges, and other membership features at current and future locations as business needs evolve.
  • Questions regarding Home Club designation or transfer eligibility should be directed to your Home Club management team.

9. Special Circumstances

Center Court recognizes that member situations may change over time.

Examples may include:

  • Relocation to a new area.
  • Seasonal residency.
  • New club openings.
  • Significant changes in usage patterns.

When a new Center Court location opens, members whose usage patterns shift primarily to the new location may be subject to a Home Club review.

When usage between multiple locations is equal, Center Court reserves the right to determine the appropriate Home Club based on overall usage patterns, attendance history, reservation activity, membership history, and discussions with the member.

10. Policy Enforcement

Center Court reserves the right to update Home Club designations, membership pricing, and associated benefits when member usage no longer aligns with a designated Home Club.

The purpose of this process is not to restrict members from enjoying multiple clubs. Rather, it is to ensure membership pricing, benefits, and club access remain aligned with the club members use most often.

This ensures fairness for all members, protects access and availability at each location, and helps preserve the integrity and value of every Center Court membership.

As Center Court expands locations, memberships, and offerings, these policies may be updated accordingly.

The most current version of this policy is available through your Home Club management team or the Center Court member portal.

All memberships are subject to this policy. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
