Center Court Pickleball Club Will Introduce Premier Indoor Pickleball to AZ in 2024

New Company Will Open 3 Clubs in Gilbert, Scottsdale, and Glendale

PHOENIX (October 4, 2023) – Center Court Pickleball Club is a new premier indoor pickleball brand set to wow members with three Valley locations opening in 2024. Center Court aims to elevate the indoor pickleball experience with amenities more consistent with a high-end gym or golf club while still welcoming community members at all skill levels.

Players will enjoy state-of-the-art courts. All courts will be regulation sized courts or larger with “every court feeling like a Center Court.” Amenities include a players’ lounge, locker rooms with showers, wellness area with hydro massage and cryotherapy chairs, stretch area, retail shop, a beverage tap wall, grab-and-go food options, and social gathering and viewing areas.  Most importantly, Center Court aims to create an experience where players find like-skilled players with low wait times.

Morris wanted to create a curated, members-only experience for all players and their guests. He brings more than 20 years of experience working with health clubs and previously worked in executive roles at The Ritz Carlton and Ochsner Health. Wayne, an avid pickleball player, teamed up with Plexus Worldwide’s founder Tarl Robinson to create the ultimate destination for the fastest-growing sport in America.

The company is privately funded and has signed leases for facilities in Gilbert and Glendale and is finalizing a Scottsdale location. Center Court is already planning expansion beyond the Phoenix metro area within the next 18-24 months.

Center Court Gilbert will be 30,000 square feet, located at 1433 E. Williamsfield Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85296 and will include 10 courts. Opening late spring 2024.Center Court Glendale will be 47,000 square feet, located at 5960 West Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 85308 and will include 16 courts. Opening early summer 2024.

The clubs are purposefully designed with the players' experience in mind. Players can reserve court space and engage in group sessions, clinics, leagues, tournaments and open play where players can enjoy competitive social games with like-skilled players and other special events. Each location will boast a unique feature known as 'Center Court,' which will be a notably larger court, offering additional seating and enhanced viewing experiences for feature and championship matches.

Center Court offers membership options for individuals as well as an innovative concept called ‘Crew Memberships.’ This allows players to link their membership with family and friends  at a discounted rate.  Members will have complete access to the courts, discounts, and perks that will include special events and facility services.
